Literature Text
through the glistening strands
lights from the city
grow faint at midnight
as the sound
of a homeless man
changing position
while he sleeps
keeps rhythm with
the crackling of animals
rummaging through garbage.
at daybreak
there is that one second
before dawn
and the one after
where it is
dead silence.
i pull on
the only suit i can afford
but decide to try a different tie,
and on my way to work
there is always that same spot
where the steam rises from the sewer
and glistens
in the strands of sunlight
peaking through
from the awning overhead.
then i remember. . .
i thought we would always be together,
always be a family
until you told me
i had none,
and evaporated
like a ghost.
the last image i have of you
is walking over the rising steam
and disappearing
into the glistening strands of sunlight.
now i sit at my desk
waiting to sneak out
before my boss,
who treats me like something expendable,
can catch me.
i think of how
the day
is getting old
and the lights
will be growing faint,
and once more
the midnight sounds
will take place
in the ally
outside my window.

The Plan that Worked
The Lair of Ivo Robotnick
Amy was strapped to a metal table, she tried to look around but the room she was in was empty, then she heard footsteps, then she saw him, big and fat human shape, it was Robotnik, he stood in front of her and smiled
She shouted at him
What you what want Robotnik, release me before sonic comes and trash your base as he always do
Robotnick paced back and forth in front of Amy, and then he stopped
Yes he does, that is why I have a new plan! A Robot among the rebels to destroy them from within!
Amy laughed
A robot? Nothing new there, so I assume its to the Roboticizer now?

Author's Note: This is a companion story to my short story of the same name. Namely it has my two characters Mikasi and Jamie.

Chapter 1
The first day of the school year was always Mikasi's least favorite. It wasn't because it was school; it was because the weather was still summer. At eight O'clock it was already getting overly warm in the classrooms unlucky enough to get the morning sun. At times like this Mikasi always seriously considered cutting his shoulder length, raven black hair. It was coarse and thick, holding in the heat like a horse blanket. In the end he never went through wit
